My daughter and I are studying verses on speech. We aim to think on those each morning until Thursday then selecting more. As there are so many to choose from we chose 3 to start with.
Ephesians 4:29
Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear.
Colossians 4:6
Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer each person.
James 1:26
If anyone thinks he is religious and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his heart, this person's religion is worthless.
On a side note I love what James 3 says on taming the tongue. <3
