My {christ's} Words Will Never Cease

Blog details

Luke 21:33

Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away

We often take our Bibles for granted for it is through that means, that God wishes to bring us back to Him, through Christ Jesus, in these NT times. He has allowed an abundance of translations in different languages, for most of the developed world to find Christ. We, here in America, really take the availability of His Word for granted. Now with the rise of the Internet and Cell Phones, we can even access His Word online with Apps like Bible Gateway and Bible Hub. And, instead of having to carry around huge Commentary and Concordance books, we can get deeper into His Word through a small cell phone. We are truly Blessed in these times as many rightly feel we are close to the End.

I have a big book—the New Evidence that demands a Verdict by Josh McDowell, that tells us how God has used translators though the Centuries to preserve His Word in what we now refer to as the Holy Bible. That the directives of the OT Jewish scribes in getting His Words preserved went on to these NT times as there are penalties from God in even unwittingly altering His Word. The evidence is overwhelming that God even directed the Canon of Books to be included in our modern-day Bibles, which has lasted for close to 17 Centuries.

I came upon a Latin phrase attached to translation process which is Ipsissima Vox—meaning we can actually spiritually hear in our own language the words of Christ. Men and woman have been directed to preserve the voice of Christ as perfect as they can, with a translation perspective in mind. We can essentially go back in time and hear His exact words in our own language. We could be hearing Him during the Sermon on the Mount and hear Him tell us what the exact signs to look for in the Last Days [Matt. Chapter 24] as well as all His directives, that He uttered in the 4 Gospels. We can be as one of His apostles, in a sense. And, as well as with the Epistles, which are the writings of Paul and others--- all through the Holy Spirit about Christ and His Early Church.

We have no excuse as Believers in Christ to eliminate deception from our lives with what God has provided us with in this 21st Century as well as those who lived and died for all the Centuries before.

The Peace of God is in part, Trusting Him to not only Preserve His word, but to actually Study it and meditate on the Words of the Bible from Philippians 4:8. And, we also must pray in humbleness before Christ for the Holy Spirit to guide us in our lives.
