After following and being involved in the issue of abortion, I am convinced we are dealing with a spirit of death that is now pervading society.
The Word tells us that Satan has come to kill, steal and destroy. If you ever wanted to see the fulfillment of that verse, abortion is it.
Kill. 55 million babies murdered in the womb since 1973.
Steal. 55 million babies stolen from their mothers.
Destroy. 55 million babies had their right to life destroyed.
I have been told that more babies have died in the womb since 1973 than all the people who died in all the wars last century.
When I told the government that if they legalized brothels there would be an increase in prostitution and an increase in unlicensed brothels, they ignored my advice and went ahead to make prostitution legal...in legal brothels.
Today there are ten times as many illegal brothels, mainly staffed by illegal immigrants who are nothing more than sex slaves. Well done government.
I wrote a paper on prostitution at the turn of the century (20th) for my Social Science degree and found a government that was determined to wipe out prostitution. It was not illegal to be a prostitute, but it was illegal to procure the services of the prostitute.
Because the men did not want mother or wife to find out they used the services of a prostitute, they kept well away and prostitution nearly died out.
This is what should happen today but I digress.
Abortion has developed a culture of death in society. its message is life is cheap. If it is a nuisance, kill it.
The consequences are seen in the push to get rid of people at the other end of the life spectrum.
I believe that in one Scandinavian country it has been extended to the disabled. In Iceland, all down syndrome babies are automatically aborted.
And we thought that Hitler's plan to produce a superior white Aryan race was diabolical.
Jesus said to bring the little children to me and forbid them not. He did not say, "If the little children are a nuisance, get rid of them...permanently."
It is very clear in the Bible what Jesus and his Father thought about children. No one and I mean no one can ever justify abortion from the Bible.
