I walked into the chemist today to buy some antiseptic cream for my sister who's managed to give herself a few blisters playing soccer. So I walk in and ask one of the ladies where I might find the cream - she takes me over to one side of the store where, sure enough, it's sitting on the shelf
. As I walk back to the counter, the first question she asks me is, "Is it for a tattoo?".
Now, I know anybody can have a tattoo...I also know the stigma that surrounds tattoos. I know I'm not generally a girly-girl, but I didn't think I looked quite so punk enough to have people assume I have tattoos either.
Mabye I should start wearing pink ribbons in my hair and chains on my jeans. That would throw people a little.
