1 Corinthians 12:4-7
"There are different kinds of spiritual gifts, but the same Spirit gives them. There are different ways of serving, but the same Lord is served. There are different abilities to perform service, but the same God gives ability to all for their particular service. The Spirit's presence is shown in some way in each person for the good of all."

The chapter continues on to talk about the Church as the Body of Chirst. We have each been blessed with different gifts but we will never be able to use them properly unless we unite with our brothers and sisters and combine what we have been blessed with. We can never hope to show the world the Light if we ourselves cannot stop bickering about the small details.

Accept it - God loves you and God loves the others that you don't necessarily feel the same way about. If He can love despite the pain we cause Him every single day, why can't we try to do the same. The only way we will ever make a difference in this world is if we can learn to get along and work together for the One we love.

Something else I read today from God Calling...
Remember no prayer goes unanswered. Remember that the moment a thing seems wrong to you, or a person's actions to be not what you think they should be, at that moment begins your obligation and responsibility to pray for those wrongs to be righted, or that person to be different.

Face your responsibilities. What is wrong in your country, its statesmen, its laws, its people? Think out quietly, and make these matters your prayer matters. You will see lives you never touch altered, laws made at your request, evil banished.

Yes! Live in a large sense. Live to serve and to save. You may never go beyond one room, and yet you may become one of the most powerful forces for good in your country; in the world.
