In a thread of our sister visionary titled 30Ad I brought up the possibility of a one year ministry in our dialogue with one another. She kindly sent me a link of a brother who created a thread covering this titled Jesus One Year Ministry. After reading his thread an amazing thought popped into my head which I will share below.
Alright so I read the thread and something came to me which I believe all of us have missed with this one Passover versus three Passover argument: it is possible to have a one year ministry with three passover feasts in it:
If any of the Israelites missed the first Passover on the 14th Day of the 1st Month, then they could attend a second Passover on the 14th Day of the 2nd Month (Numbers 9:1-14).
Therefore when Jesus was 29 Years Old the first Passover would arrive in the first month; followed by the second Passover in the second month; and finally when Jesus turned 30 Years Old the third Passover arrived in the first month where He was crucified, buried, and resurrected three days and three nights after! And this would align perfectly with Numbers 4:1-3 as Jesus would not be able to serve in the temple (as you kindly pointed out sister visionary!). And whether Jesus was twenty nine or thirty years of age according to Luke 3:23, we know that He would have turned thirty years old on or before He served in the temple; this is further proven when He read from the scroll of Isaiah proclaiming the year of Jubilee before His death on the cross (Luke 4:18-21 cf. Isaiah 61:1-2).
In conclusion we see that 1 Year = 3 Passover Feasts. Praise God!
