Will Enoch's prophecy of the 70 "shepherds" of Israel culminate with Benjamin "Bibi" Netanyahu?

Enoch's prophecy of 70 "shepherds" of Israel - The 35 bad kings "of the sheepfold" before 586 B.C.

In a vision, Enoch (who lived 669 years before Noah's Flood) saw that there would be 70 shepherds of Israel: "And He called seventy shepherds, and cast those sheep to them that they might pasture them,..." (1 Enoch 89:59-61) He saw the first group of 35 shepherds as unique from the other ones to come which represented the first 35 bad kings of Israel and Judah ("of the sheepfold") before 586 B.C. when Jerusalem was destroyed on the 9th of Av and then carried away in captivity by the Babylonians: "And I saw till that in this manner thirty-five shepherds undertook the pasturing (of the sheep),..." (1 Enoch 90:1-2) The vision shows him that all 70 "shepherds" including these 35 will go to hell: "...And those seventy shepherds were judged and found guilty, and they were cast into that fiery abyss..." (1 Enoch 90:20-27)

Good and Bad Kings of Israel (Before 586 B.C.)

Judah (and Benjamin) ................ Israel (Ten Northern Tribes)

1. Saul - Bad ............................17. Jeroboam I - Bad
....David - GOOD ...................... 18. Nadab - Bad
....Solomon - GOOD ...................19. Baasha - Bad
2. Rehoboam - Bad ....................20. Elah - Bad
3. Abijah - Bad ..........................21. Zimri - Bad
....Asa - GOOD ..........................22. Omri - Bad
....Jehoshaphat - GOOD ..............23. Ahab - Bad
4. Jehoram - Bad .......................24. Ahaziah - Bad
5. Ahaziah - Bad ........................25. Joram - Bad
6. Athaliah - Bad ........................26. Jehu - Bad
7. Joash - Bad ...........................27. Jehoahaz - Bad
8. Amaziah - Bad ........................28. Jehoash - Bad
9. Uzziah - Bad ..........................29. Jeroboam II - Bad
....Jotham - GOOD ......................30. Zechariah - Bad
10. Ahaz - Bad ...........................31. Shallum - Bad
......Hezekiah - GOOD ..................32. Menahem - Bad
11. Manasseh - Bad ....................33. Pekahiah - Bad
12. Amon - Bad ..........................34. Pekah - Bad
.....Josiah - GOOD .......................35. Hoshea - Bad
13. Jehoahaz - Bad
14. Jehoiakim - Bad
15. Jehoiachin - Bad
16. Zedekiah - Bad

Enoch was obviously referring to the bad kings in this early group, otherwise why would he say that David and Solomon were condemned to hell? Notice that out of 42 kings Enoch saw only 7 good ones or, perhaps, did not see them at all. The vision may have only shown him the 35 bad ones, leaving out the other seven.

Enoch's prophecy of 70 "shepherds" of Israel - The 23 puppet rulers of Israel NOT of the "sheepfold" propped up by foreign powers (539 B.C. - 70 A.D.)

After the vision of the 35 "shepherds" Enoch then saw 23 foreign ones ruling over Israel until the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 A.D., effectively all but ending the Herodian dynasty and bringing the total to 58: "And I saw until that twenty-three had undertaken the pasturing and completed in their several periods fifty-eight times." (1 Enoch 90:5)

Persian (Post-Exilic) Period: 539 B.C. to 332 B.C. - (Cyrus the Great - Persia)
Hellenistic Period: 332 B.C. to 167 B.C. - (Alexander the Great - Macedonia and Greece)
Ptolemaic Period: 305 B.C. to 198 B.C. - (Ptolemy - Egypt)
Seleucid Period: 198 B.C. to 167 B.C. - (Antiochus Epiphanes - Persia and Syria)
Roman Era: 63 B.C. to 135 A.D. - (Herod Dynasty to 70 A.D. - Proxy of Rome)

There were many more than 23 rulers who, collectively, ruled over Israel during this time period. However, some were probably good, like Cyrus and Alexander, while some were just much worse than others and considered outright evil in many cases such as Antiochus IV Epiphanes (who sacrificed a pig on the Temple alter and set up the "abomination of desolation"), Nero and Hadrian. The vision he received may have simply shown Enoch the worst of the worst.

Enoch's prophecy of 70 "shepherds" of Israel - The final 12 "kings" after Israel's 1948 inception as a nation once more

Finally, after the vision of the rulers which totalled 58, Enoch foresaw that 12 more "shepherds" would arise to govern over Israel. Sadly, however, Enoch says that this final group of 12 will do more damage spiritually than all the other 58 knotheads before them: "And I saw that man, who wrote the book according to the command of the Lord, till he opened that book concerning the destruction which those twelve last shepherds had wrought, and showed that they had destroyed much more than their predecessors,..." (1 Enoch 90:19)

The 12 Prime Ministers of Israel since 1948

1. David Ben Gurion - Lawyer
2. Moshe Sharett - Lawyer
3. Levi Eshkol - Finance Minister
4. Golda Meir - Embraced Socialist Zionism
5. Yitzhak Rabin - Politician, officially recognised the PLO, signed the Oslo Accords
6. Menachem Begin - Graduated from law school but never practised
7. Yitzhak Shamir - Studied Law
8. Shimon Peres - Finance Minister
9. Ehud Barak - Implemented the first Oslo Accords
10. Ariel Sharon - Orchestrated Israel's unilateral disengagement from the Gaza Strip
11. Ehud Olmert - Lawyer
12. Benjamin Netanyahu - Supports the two-state solution with the condition of recognition of Israel's "right to exist"

All these leaders have made unforgivable concessions to Israel's sworn enemies since its inception in 1948 and worst of all, have lain with the biggest harlot of all time, Babylon...the U.S. of America. This prophecy appears to be dead on with respect to end time events and closely parallels the prediction of St. Malachy about the final 112 Popes...the present 111th one being nearly 86 years old at the time of this writing and in bad health. If Netanyahu gets re-elected on January 22, 2013 and Ratzinger (Pope Benedict XVI) abdicates the papacy soon or dies, the coming of the Messiah could be right around the corner. The predecessors spoken of in this prophecy are the shepherds who come before the emergence of someone Enoch refers to as "the Lord of the Sheep"...I wonder who THAT could be?!

BREAKING NEWS! The Pope has announced his resignation to be effective as of February 28, 2013!

Sory, I haven;t read you whole list, but wanted to say that the seventy shepherds are princes over the nations, not human beings.
God broke the mother tongue into 70, at Babel, and the seventy Watcher angels who stood before Him came down with him and did the job with Him. Those seventy branched out and leafed out to the 5000 plus tongues form the mother tougue today, but there are still seventy heavenly rulers over the nations, and Michael is over ISrael. Other rulers have disobeyed God, and will be judged and cast down from their positions when the rapture of the Church comes, and some are given the positions in heaven that the cast down rulers/judges/elohym now have.

The prince of Persia in Daniel 10 was a heavenly ruler. When the messenger of YHWH came to Daniel he told him he had been fighting him for 21 days, and Michael, Daniel's prince/sar, [Israel's Prince, a Watcher angel], had come to help him and together, they "bound" that heavenly prince to the written Word of God, which is written in heaven [called the Scripture of Truth, in the original language of Daniel 10:21], and which the two fighting him, "bound" him to.
The book of Jasher enlightens us on the seventy who are the heavenly shepherds, and the nations were prayed for by the Levitical priesthood with the offering of seventy bulls.
Those seventy shepherds will be judged, and some of them are very evil principalities and powers. The warning to them is in Psalm 82, in the original language; "they shall die like Adam, the one prince", and be cast down from Eden.

God resets the "pillars of earth" in Psalm 75:2,3. when He raptures/laqachs the "Congregation of YHWH" to heaven, casting some of the stars/angels who are Watchers over earth, and placing a "new foundation" of raptured saints in their places over earth -those who are found worthy.
Enoch is already raptured in his body to Eden above, and is in the glory, there, with the Watchers -and rules over them, under the LORD of Glory, as Jasher states; and he is the one who comes to show Daniel what is written in the Scripture or Truth, in heaven, in Daniel 10, for he read it all, as He said in his writings.
Enoch, being in charge of those things written, also shows John around, and things to come, in Revelation, and tells John he is one of his own brethren and a fellow prophet, with John.

Angel means emissary. So humans are just as able to be those shepherds of prophecy.
Don't be surprised Gary if you receive remarks about this that dismiss all of it because Enoch is not in the Canon.

I think what you've posted there is quite likely. We'll have to wait and see.

What planet do you come from?
Planet means wanderer.
I come from no planet and live on no planet. Earth is my place of birth and my residence, and earth is not a planet. No where, no place, does God call earth a planet/wanderer, but He declares that He has fixed the earth in its place, and stretched out the heavens from the earth on day 2 of creation, between the divided waters [Hebrew mayim, is waters], and named the stretched out expanse "sha-mayim", which is the Hebrew transliterated word which is translated to "heavens" in English; but in Hebrew, Sha-mayim is between the cut in two waters.
You referenced Enoch, and Enoch tells us the 70 shepherds are seventy princes set over the nations.

Enoch is canon in the Ethiopian Ge'ez Bible, which kept Enoch in their Bible [Bible means collection of books] for all the age of the One Church [which is head-quartered in Mount Zion, above, but has many assemblies of different groups of all the world in all the one age].
As to canon, there is not consensus among all the groups of christendom in all the age of the one Living Church on earth, and the opinions, the curses and blessings of men who set themselves over men for reasons of politics and power and declare what they may read and what not, has changed over the centuries and keeps changing for politics and power. But the Holy Spirit has never changed His mind, and He has nev er played their games of politics and power. What is, Is.
Here is a lesson to instruct on that matter, which you can research for yourself:

Both posting extra-biblical books as authoritative prophets? Is this what you think?
Hey, if the Bible doesn't support your doctrine then find something that does and claim it's Holy Writ as well.;)

The real Enoch had about as much to to with that book as I did.

Will Enoch's prophecy of the 70 "shepherds" of Israel culminate with Benjamin "Bibi" Netanyahu?
The seventy shepherds are not human beings, but are the judges and rulers over nations. They are the principalities and powers, the rulers of darkness in the heavenly realm, set over earth, until Jesus comes to set up His millennial kingdom and to "reset" the powers that be, in the heavenly realm over earth -as Psalm 75:2,3 also show, in the original language.

The tribulation is God's time to judge those principalities and powers, and to cast them down from heaven so as to reset those pillars with the adopted sons of God who are raptured, glorified and judged worthy to rule earth as priests and kings, with the holy watcher angels, from that heavenly realm.
The period of the seventy shepherds does not end until Jesus returns to set up His millennial reign. It began when Israel was dispersed.

Israel is still under those shepherds, through the UN.

The whole context of Enoch's dream vision of the history of Israel is about those principalities and powers set over the nations. IN Daniel 10, we see that heavenly prince/shepherd of Persia who did not want to let Israel go, and fought against fulfilling the Word of God to let them go. For 21 days the one sent to show Daniel the answer to his prayers fought in the heavenly realm with that Prince of Persia, until Michael, the prince of Israel -a Holy Watcher who has not fallen and is not evil- came to bind that heavenly prince to the Word of God.
Then, the earthly king of Persia let Israel go.

Enoch 89:
The Period of the Seventy Shepherds
59"And He called seventy shepherds, and cast those sheep to them that they might pasture them, and He spake to the shepherds and their companions: "Let each individual of you pasture the sheep henceforward, and everything that I shall command you that do ye. 60And I will deliver them over unto you duly numbered, and tell you which of them are to be destroyed- and them destroy ye." And He gave over unto them those sheep.
61"And He called another and spake unto him: 'Observe and mark everything that the shepherds will do to those sheep; for they will destroy more of them than I have commanded them. 62And every excess and the destruction which will be wrought through the shepherds, record namely how many they destroy according to my command, and how many according to their own caprice: record against every individual shepherd all the destruction he effects. 63And read out before me by number how many they destroy, and how many they deliver over for destruction, that I may have this as a testimony against them, and know every deed of the shepherds, that I may comprehend and see what they do, whether or not they abide by my command which I have commanded them. 64But they shall not know it, and thou shalt not declare it to them, nor admonish them, but only record against each individual all the destruction which the shepherds effect each in his time and lay it all before me.'
65"And I saw till those shepherds pastured in their season, and they began to slay and to destroy more than they were bidden, and they delivered those sheep into the hand of the lions. 66And the lions and tigers eat and devoured the greater part of those sheep, and the wild boars eat along with them; and they burnt that tower and demolished that house.
67"And I became exceedingly sorrowful over that tower because that house of the sheep was demolished, and afterwards I was unable to see if those sheep entered that house. 68And the shepherds and their associates delivered over those sheep to all the wild beasts, to devour them, and each one of them received in his time a definite number: it was written by the other in a book how many each one of them destroyed of them. 69And each one slew and destroyed many more than was prescribed; and I began to weep and lament on account of those sheep. 70And thus in the vision I saw that one who wrote, how he wrote down every one that was destroyed by those shepherds, day by day, and carried up and laid down and showed actually the whole book to the Lord of the sheep- even everything that they had done, and all that each one of them had made away with, and all that they had given over to destruction. 71And the book was read before the Lord of the sheep, and He took the book from his hand and read it and sealed it and laid it down.
72"And forthwith I saw how the shepherds pastured for twelve hours, and behold three of those sheep turned back and came and entered and began to build up all that had fallen down of that house; but the wild boars tried to hinder them, but they were not able. 73And they began again to build as before, and they reared up that tower, and it was named the high tower; and they began again to place a table before the tower, but all the bread on it was polluted and not pure. 74And as touching all this the eyes of those sheep were blinded so that they saw not, and the eyes of their shepherds likewise; and they delivered them in large numbers to their shepherds for destruction, and they trampled the sheep with their feet and devoured them. 75And the Lord of the sheep remained unmoved till all the sheep were dispersed over the field and mingled with them, and they did not save them out of the hand of the beasts.
76"And this one who wrote the book carried it up, and showed it and read it before the Lord of the sheep, and implored Him on their account, and besought Him on their account as he showed Him all the doings of the shepherds, and gave testimony before Him against all the shepherds.
77"And he took the actual book and laid it down beside Him and departed." {Top}
90 "And I saw till that in this manner thirty-five shepherds undertook the pasturing of the sheep, and they severally completed their periods as did the first; and others received them into their hands, to pasture them for their period, each shepherd in his own period.
2"And after that I saw in my vision all the birds of heaven coming, the eagles, the vultures, the kites, the ravens; but the eagles led all the birds; and they began to devour those sheep, and to pick out their eyes and to devour their flesh. 3And the sheep cried out because their flesh was being devoured by the birds, and as for me I looked and lamented in my sleep over that shepherd who pastured the sheep.
4"And I saw until those sheep were devoured by the dogs and eagles and kites, and they left neither flesh nor skin nor sinew remaining on them till only their bones stood there: and their bones too fell to the earth and the sheep became few.
5"And I saw until that twenty-three had undertaken the pasturing and completed in their several periods fifty-eight times.
6"But behold lambs were borne by those white sheep, and they began to open their eyes and to see, and to cry to the sheep. 7Yea, they cried to them, but they did not hearken to what they said to them, but were exceedingly deaf, and their eyes were very exceedingly blinded. 8And I saw in the vision how the ravens flew upon those lambs and took one of those lambs, and dashed the sheep in pieces and devoured them. 9And I saw till horns grew upon those lambs, and the ravens cast down their horns; and I saw till there sprouted a great horn of one of those sheep, and their eyes were opened.
10"And it looked at them and their eyes opened, and it cried to the sheep, and the rams saw it and all ran to it. 11And notwithstanding all this those eagles and vultures and ravens and kites still kept tearing the sheep and swooping down upon them and devouring them: still the sheep remained silent, but the rams lamented and cried out. 12And those ravens fought and battled with it and sought to lay low its horn, but they had no power over it. 13And I saw till the shepherds and eagles and those vultures and kites came, and they cried to the ravens that they should break the horn of that ram, and they battled and fought with it, and it battled with them and cried that its help might come.
The End of the Age
14"And I saw till that man, who wrote down the names of the shepherds and carried up into the presence of the Lord of the sheep came and helped it and showed it everything: he had come down for the help of that ram.
15"And I saw till the Lord of the sheep came unto them in wrath, and all who saw Him fled, and they all fell into His shadow from before His face. 16All the eagles and vultures and ravens and kites were gathered together, and there came with them all the sheep of the field, yea, they all came together, and helped each other to break that horn of the ram.
17"And I saw that man, who wrote the book according to the command of the Lord, till he opened that book concerning the destruction which those twelve last shepherds had wrought, and showed that they had destroyed much more than their predecessors, before the Lord of the sheep.
18"And I saw till the Lord of the sheep came unto them and took in His hand the staff of His wrath, and smote the earth, and the earth clave asunder, and all the beasts and all the birds of the heaven fell from among those sheep, and were swallowed up in the earth and it covered them.
19"And I saw till a great sword was given to the sheep, and the sheep proceeded against all the beasts of the field to slay them, and all the beasts and the birds of the heaven fled before their face.
The Last Judgment
20"And I saw till a throne was erected in the pleasant land, and the Lord of the sheep sat Himself thereon, and the other took the sealed books and opened those books before the Lord of the sheep.
21"And the Lord called those men the seven first white ones, and commanded that they should bring before Him, beginning with the first star which led the way, all the stars whose privy members were like those of horses, and they brought them all before Him.
22"And He said to that man who wrote before Him, being one of those seven white ones, and said unto him: 'Take those seventy shepherds to whom I delivered the sheep, and who taking them on their own authority slew more than I commanded them.'
23"And behold they were all bound, I saw, and they all stood before Him. 24And the judgement was held first over the stars, and they were judged and found guilty, and went to the place of condemnation, and they were cast into an abyss, full of fire and flaming, and full of pillars of fire. 25And those seventy shepherds were judged and found guilty, and they were cast into that fiery abyss. 26And I saw at that time how a like abyss was opened in the midst of the earth, full of fire, and they brought those blinded sheep, and they were all judged and found guilty and cast into this fiery abyss, and they burned; now this abyss was to the right of that house. 27And I saw those sheep burning and their bones burning.
28"And I stood up to see till they folded up that old house; and carried off all the pillars, and all the beams and ornaments of the house were at the same time folded up with it, and they carried it off and laid it in a place in the south of the land.
29"And I saw till the Lord of the sheep brought a new house greater and loftier than that first, and set it up in the place of the first which had been folded up: all its pillars were new, and its ornaments were new and larger than those of the first, the old one which He had taken away, and all the sheep were within it.

The prophecy of 70 Shepherds to Israel :

-35 shepherds ruled before the Babylonian King Nebuchadnezzar destroyed the Kingdom of Judah in 597 BC.

-23 foreign shepherds ruling over Israel until the Bar Kokhba rebellion of the Jews of the Roman province of Judea, led by Simon bar Kokhba, against the Roman Empire. Fought circa 132–136 CE, it was the last of three major Jewish–Roman wars, so it is also known as The Third Jewish–Roman War or The Third Jewish Revolt.
During the reign of the 23 puppet shepherds, Enoch describes the destruction among the lost sheep of Israel, as well as the building and destruction of the First and Second Temple in Jerusalem (1 Enoch 89:59-76).

-12 more shepherds would arise to govern over Israel. He therefore foretold the rebirth of Israel as a nation in modern times!

The 13th PM of Israel will replace Bibi to rule Israel and that can be the fake Messiah who will make fire come down to burn the animal offering at the 3rd Temple in Jerusalem.

There is a rhythm to events which makes the 70 Shepherds more likely shepherds of the nation's which the sheep are given into hands of after 1st Temple until end of 2nd Temple being during the 35 Shepherds, then the 23 Shepherds being after 2nd Temple until start of awakening out of Great Apostasy under Roman Empire leading to the last 12 Shepherds which could be the same 12 Wings of Eagle in 2 Esdras 11-12 of which the last 3 are Heads, making the last of the 3 Heads the Antichrist.
