That must come as a great shock to Michael Cohen considering he pled guilty to two counts of campaign finance violations.

With Trump, the Justice Department declined a repeat of the Edwards debacle and did not bring any federal charge.

Sorry? Are you referring to the lawyer's salary? Because I'm pretty sure he gave the money to the lawyer to dispense with as his representative to other parties.

Why?
No, the lawyer had already dispensed it. Trump was reimbursing him

Ok. I'm not sure why you think that's relevant.
Cohen was the lawyer he was supposed to know what he was doing he would have made the plan not Trump. Trump should be a witness against him.

What would Trump be a witness to? Cohen has already pleaded guilty. And even if Cohen came up with the idea, it was still Trump who allegedly caused the Trump Organization to cook the books to conceal the payments. That's what the trial is about.

Yeah yeah. All these people around Trump go to jail but Trump is squeaky clean. Pull the other one, it has bells on.

I never said he was clean. If they want to get him they need to treat him like everyone else and stop making it look like he’s being persecuted.
If he was jailed for attending his son’s graduation that would give him the election

eh, ever the victim. Trump, like any defendent, was told to be present in court. If he fails to show up, an arrest warrant would be issued, just like any other defendent. Or perhaps you think he is special?

If they treated him like everyone else he would of been in jail a while ago. He has been getting kid glove treatment and screaming bloody murder about how it is so unfair.

The SEC declined to prosecute the felony charge. Bragg has gerrymandered a misdemeanor into a felony when his SOP for everyone else is to reduce felonies to misdemeanors

The SEC (neither the government one nor the evil one) has nothing to do with campaign laws.
The FEC does not prosecute criminal charges.
The FEC had a partisan deadlock about this matter (and the Karen McDougal payoff).

The judge let a witness be out of court to attend a wedding but Trump can’t go to his son’s graduation?

The DOJ declined to prosecute and you are correct I meant FEC.

What crime would he be in jail for?

Pick a scandal. It is not like there is not a plethora to choose from. Let's take the classified documents. Do you think if you had taken highly sensitive classified documents that the government would of been so deferential to you asking for them back?

1) What you seem to be referring to was a potential juror, not a witness. 2) that person was excused from serving as a juror explicitly because if he had been selected and the trial ran into June he wouldn't be able to attend. 3) The judge actually didn't make a decision about Barron's graduation. It's going to depend on where they are in the trial.
