• The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.

If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.

If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. May you be blessed today and each day.

Who can save me?

I am Zhang Nan. I'm Chinese. It's a great honour to meet all of you here. I am not christian, but I wish one day I could be saved. Recently, I have met quite a lot of problems and I could not deal with them successfully by myself. In fact, I am filled with dread and autism and I have great difficulty in commutting with others. In my country, as you all know, people seldom truly be faithful in God, and therefore, they can not be saved. Our government is filed with corruption and they force us to study the so called socialism everyday. I really suffer a lot from it. Could you please pray for me? I hope to go to your country someday if possible. May God bless American.

Hiya Zhang. Nice to meet you.

If you want to be saved one day, then why not today? It is not difficult. All you need to do is to say, 'Lord, I believe. Help my unbelief.' Then the Lord will take it from there, perhaps with some help from his servants here on this forum; your brothers and sisters in faith. Other Christians will say that other words are required but that is not the case; what matters is the heart before God, not the words we use.

Before you do any of that you need to understand that being a Christian will not take away any of your present problems. It will, however, help you to bear those problems because you will not only have your own strength to call on, but also God's strength. In the end it does not matter how unfaithful we are to God. What matters is that he is always faithful to us.

And now to practical matters; do you have a Bible? If not, there may be online versions you can access. Do you know any Christians at all where you are? Is there a Christian church near you?

God be with you.

Think you very much

I downloaded a Bible with my mobile phone several weeks ago.
I like reading it and I know it must comes from the word of GOD. I strongly believe if I had read it ten years ago , my condition would have been much more better than present.

What confused me most now is that there are no teachers available for me to teach me the mystery of God's words which are usually difficult for me to understand.

I have no acquaintances who follow Jesus and I think it is also a big pity that there are no churches around me.

Please pardon if there are any sentences you can not understand due to my poor English skills...

Your English is fine.

So, what mystery in particular would you like to ask about? If you take them one at a time we may be able to find an answer for you.

God be with you.
