It's not that high, if u don't like use a ton of pressure on ur voice when singing...if you sing quieter then ur voice can do more
Some versions of Holy Night, at the word 'night' towards the end, go up a whole octave... :)

To me, the way that is written (that wide a range) it is not good for congregational singing. Not everyone has that range. Many have less than an octave total.

To me, the way that is written (that wide a range) it is not good for congregational singing. Not everyone has that range. Many have less than an octave total.
Sometimes the whole octave jump is not observed, when sung.
