I think there's reason to believe that it might be on a Sunday when the end of the world/Second Coming happens. I'm not saying that it will be on that day. It's just that it would seem so since Sunday is the Lord's day. However, Jesus said, "And unless those days had been shortened, no flesh should be saved: but for the sake of the elect those days shall be shortened." (Mt. 24:22) But Jesus didn't say shortened in relation to what specific date. So we can't be certain the time when he will return, unless it's just about to happen. Jesus said that just before his return the sign of the Cross would appear in the sky (Mt. 24:30). That's the time when people can know for sure that it is imminent. Jesus also said, "From the fig tree learn its lesson: as soon as its branch becomes tender and puts forth its leaves, you know that summer is near. So also, when you see all these things, you know that he is near, at the very gates." (Mt. 24:32-33) And in the book of Daniel it says, "But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, until the time of the end. Many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase." (Dan 12:4)

I guess this means Peyton Manning's career is over.

Say it ain't so! Oh well, at least he went out on top. All of those Brady fans...sorry, no more soup for you!

At least I have a good excuse for not buying my wife a Valentines present.

What time Sunday? I usually sleep late and I don't want to miss it.

11.01 am.
Since "at the eleventh hour" usually means "at the last minute"
(No worse than some other "end of days" interpretations and calculations I have seen)

Yeah, I'm getting tired of these prophetic declarations. I've had 4 cars repossessed when I stopped making payments.
I know, and having your house repossessed for the second time is a right pain.

Thanks. I'll set the alarm for 10:30, enough time for coffee (have you tried Victor Allen's "Breakfast Blend"?). :yum:

I'm a Lapsang drinker, first thing.
I'll just be checking that I've no uneaten chocolate in the house.
It would be a terrible thing to go out with uneaten chocolate.
(Admittedly I always thought that was more likely to be a plummeting aircraft scenario.
While no more effective than screaming or panicking, it would be far more enjoyable as a last moment.)

If you 've seen one end of the world, you've seem them all. Boring!

The first time the world ended was when Nancy S. jilted me back in 9th grade.
