The "thing" that is uppermost in importance about this is that he is not an authority on many of the matters he's been speaking out about. His heart might be in the right place and we can all agree to the idea that we are to be good stewards of the Earth, but when he steps out of his assigned area, he's just another political "Progressive."

Given that he has science background, he's more of an authority than James Taylor.

Oh, don't get me wrong, most denialists think it is a "clever insight" into the "hoax"...when in reality it is a big red flag that the denialist who brings up the "climate change" vs "global warming" meme is actually stupendously uninformed about the topic!
