When the Rapture of the Church occurs, the world will be baffled and will want to know what happened to all of those people?

With the church being gone, who will give them the answers, and what will the answers be?

Obviously many New Agers will be left to explain the disappearance of millions of people all over the world and this is what they will offer. I wonder how many have heard of this explanation?

They will say the the planet has undergone a long overdue,
'Planetary Pentecost'.

This planetary pentecost will be the miraculous removal of all of the 'unevolved' Christians that are not fit for the brave new world of the future. For the planet to evolve correctly, it is necessary to remove all of the people of the old mindset and make way for the Age of Aquarius, as all of the Picean Age are not fit to move forward and will hold up the planetary evolution as long as they remain on Earth.

They will attribute this great miracle to their beloved Antichrist and thank him for it. They will not believe that Jesus came for his church, as prophesied, but will believe that they were removed and sent to another place where they can more appropriately evolve at their own pace.

Has anyone here ever heard of the Planetary Pentecost or Maitreya's Day of Declaration?

"In this way, he will re-enact on a worldwide scale the true happenings of Pentecost 2,000 years ago...In celebration of this event, Pentecost will become one of the major festivals of the New World Religion which, eventually, Maitreya will inaugurate." New Age Quote

Everything will happen in the one final moment.

There will be no rapture of The Church other than that final moment when all will stand before the judgement of Christ.

2Pe 3:10 ¶ But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

2Pe 3:11 [Seeing] then [that] all these things shall be dissolved, what manner [of persons] ought ye to be in [all] holy conversation and godliness,

2Pe 3:12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

In which case we do not need to worry about "new age" explanations. But they may have some "splaining to do" to the one who matters.

...don't you mean "if"?
tulc(really doesn't remember seeing the rapture in the Bible) :sorry:

That's because one has to do some pretty fancy scriptural footwork to get that out of it.
