I have to ask, did you really draw this stick figure?

You people are so talented that even your stick line figures put mine to shame. Literally the last place I expected to get shown up in was drawing stick figures and yet it happened haha.
I'd like to point out that my stick figure doesn't have legs.

It doesn't have legs, because I couldn't draw them. Chin up, you're did better than I!

I'm not a doctor, I just have the handwriting of a 7 year old who broke his hand.
See? Now you're drawing props. 7 year old broken hand or not, I give you all of the kudos!

Stick terrorism is a serious crime and it can strike any thread. Don't worry there seems to be a stable stick armistice.
I hope to see stick justice throughout the forum then. :tearsofjoy:
What happened to this thread? Lol
We're releasing Tranquil's creativity from the bounds of stick oppression. You must set us right, Yankee!

Haha. Maybe he can have an art career based on his trademark stick men

It works for L.S. Lowry. Below is one of his originals Two Figures Walking.

That looks good, how do you judge color at night with all the varying light

I sat for about forty minutes to make my observations, then I premixed the colours that I knew were going to predominant.

From there, I basically put it all together like a patchwork quilt. When a magenta(ish) light shone, I'd quickly hurry in a brushmark and put it in the right place, before moving to somewhere else in the painting, whilst I waited for the magenta light to come back again.

I was painting in a way that I have never painted before, it was similar to playing "Bop it" - just with a paintbrush.

This is something from my youth. The elements within it don't carry any profound significance for me, and it wasn't intended to convey a message of any kind. It was just practice. I attempted to replicate various images and styles I had come across online with my pencil. My aim was to mimic techniques I found impressive in other artworks. However, revisiting this piece always triggers a renewed desire to engage in drawing. The memory of the time and energy I invested in its creation cause me to doodle on my drawing tablet.

While it's nothing extraordinary by any means, it holds a special place for me. It reminds me of a period when I completely lacked confidence in myself and my abilities and viewed everything I created as garbage. This piece marks a pivotal moment when I earnestly dedicated myself to the act of learning how to draw for the first time.

Good work for your youth age, reminds me of drawings that are in Ted Rose's Discovering Drawing book

Some old doodles I did like 10 plus years ago. Haven't really drawn since.

Looks like Zoidberg has two dates tonight. He looks pretty happy.
