Perhaps because that adversary keep winning the cases? So if I have a good case for civil liberty and have to pay attorneys fees to fight for what I think is right, the opposing group (who traditionally loses these cases) can now simply keep upping the ante by dragging it out until I run out of money to fight the case. Then, without any recourse, I'm out for the count. That sounds fair?

Am I understanding this correctly?

And I love how he says Hollywood is known to coddle communists. Where was he in the 50's? He likes to dig up outdated quotes from the 30's and 40's but totally ignores the 50's? Weird.

You think the democrats have the monopoly on minority rights? Remember that Lincoln was a Republican. Also, since you brought up women and minority rights. Where were you guys when Dr. Condoleeza Rice was attacked and her drawings of big lips, etc., like a slave? Where were/are you when mojority of abortion clinics are located NEAR a poor minority neighborhood? And where are you when knowing that minority black Americans don't live as long as whites are forced to deal with the current social security system? The democrats even considering increasing the retirement age. The blacks will never get to see their money because they will die before seeing a penny.
