Teach and live the principles of the gospel, and things will fall into place... as to the title -question, they should read harry potter if they like fantasy and magic.fernsbeautyrose said:i worry sometimes that my 7yr old will not know the difference,i talk to her but any advice would help
You are so RIGHT...Nightson said:Also, it might be helpful to tell your child that Witchcraft is nothing like Harry Potter. If all they're looking for is Harry Potteresque magic let them know they'll be disappointed beforehand.
diya said:"Potter is just fiction"...and that is a fact. I read all HP books..and it hasn't changed my life at all. It is just another story..that's all. JKR is a gifted writer and that is what embraces the reader..If Potter is trying to defeat evil forces thro' magic..Let's do it thro' Christ!..If Potter is Bad, Then what About The DaVinci code?

SuperNova said:I think 7 is too young for harry potter. They definatly need to understand that real witchcraft is dangerous. This is pretend. Any real witch will tell you harry potter is not how it really is. They're all made up spells and incantations for fictional purposes. I think 11 is the right age. I think J.K. ment for a child to start reading them at 11 when harry is 11 in the first book and grow up with him. The subject matter seems to get more and more mature as the books progress.
