I'm not Catholic, but have many close friends who are, and when I was home for an art show last weekend I went to an event with them at Good Shepherd (which I enthusiastically recommend if you're in the LA area!). I picked up a newsletter with an article titled Seven Secrets of Successful Stewards that I think is applicable to everyone, regardless of their faith or beliefs.

I'm posting pictures of it below. The newsletter got a bit wrinkled in my bag, so apologies for that. :)

I like the "have an attitude of gratitude" one best.
I work part-time at the moment. When I'm down, I think "wish I had a full-time job." When I'm up, I think "at least I've got money coming in. Some have no job, no income at all.

I searched and found a PDF of the same article. Might be easier for people to read. I especially like points 2 and 3. The whole idea of stewardship fits quite well with what Pope Francis has made a keystone of his papacy.

Also, I am glad to see Stanfordella here, and hope she contributes to this forum often.
