At the controls of your tv, that would be you. Don't watch Comedy Central with the sound turned down, DON'T WATCH IT AT ALL! Hello? You take personal responsibility for what you watch. You don't take personal responsibility for what the millions of others watch. Keep your hands off my tv please.

We have cable. We stumbled across a channel known as Comedy Central. It featured cartoon characters using the must vugar, profane, disgusting language I have ever heard. Every filthy word you can think of was used, including insults concerning God, Jesus. Join with me in contacting the Federal Communications Commission concerning Comedy Central and any others where outrageous profanity is broadcast.

I'm on the phone locally for the past hour and in the morning I will be on the phone to the Executive Offices of my cable provider. You can do the same if Comedy Central and others are doing this in your area.

I can't speak for Winken, but in my case it's not because 'I don't like it'. I hate it. It pollutes young minds with mindless filth. I see it's imapct all around (in the UK). The issue with it is that more than just being particular TV show, it feeds a wider mentality that's becoming very destructive in society.

I've ended up walking away from TV altogether as led by the Lord God Himself, too much of an open doorway to overt anti-Christian anti-morality messages and that is not even to mention the subliminal messages. Calling the FCC is great though, who will speak if we don't?

Left up to the parents ??? Parents have to go a stage further these days. What's wrong with going for the source ? Maybe you think Christians who campaign against porn should just let people watch what they want to watch ? What exactly are you trying to protect, peoples right to hear the c-word ??

The argument that a person should only take responsibility for what he/she does is not a Christian one. Christians have a responsibility to try to influence society for good. Pornography & sexually demeaning language is not worth defending.

uhmmm...kind of missing the point, it's not about:

what IS worth defending is peoples right to say/watch what they want. A right is only a right if people can say/watch things we don't care for. Their right to watch things you don't like is just as much a right as you saying you don't like it. Using the law to enforce your view is simply wrong. And it never ends well.
