[Phillipians 4:17]; Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account.

It is one thing not to muzzle the ox that treads out the corn but it is another thing if that ox does not desire for fruit to abound to your account; if all he wanted was a gift.

Man of God, minister of the Lord; servant of the Most High, receiving from men is not an avenue for wealth accumulation. It is a responsibility by which you become accountable for the increase of men.

The Greek word used for account therein is 'logos' which is the word. This means that the man of God who receives from men must be dispensed in a place where the word he ministers must bear fruit in the lives of his congregation.

But then you find a minister, so utterly devoid of the word but he too receives from men. It is no wonder that the congregation he begs is disadvantaged, sick and beggarly. Not everyone has the authority to receive.

Not every ground is good ground for sowing.Only a man of the word has authority to receive because having given seed, then he can have bread.

Scripture Reference

2 Corinthians 9:10, 1 Timothy 5:18

Not everyone has the authority to receive. Only a man of the word does because having given seed, then he can have bread.
