ταυτα δε αυτου ενθυμηθεντος ιδου αγγελος κυριου κατ οναρ εφανη αυτω λεγων ιωσηφ υιος δαυιδ μη φοβηθης παραλαβειν μαριαμ την γυναικα σου το γαρ εν αυτη γεννηθεν εκ πνευματος εστιν αγιου

As he considered these (things), behold (a) messenger (of the) Lord appeared (to) him in a dream saying, "Joseph, Son (of) David, Don't fear. Receive Mary (as) your wife, for the (one) conceived in her by spirit is holy. . .

[or: As he considered this, Look! an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream saying, "Joseph, Son of David, Don't be afraid to receive Mary as your wife, for the one in her is conceived by the Holy Spirit. . .]

τεξεται δε υιον και καλεσεις το ονομα αυτου ιησουν αυτος γαρ σωσει τον λαον αυτου απο των αμαρτιων αυτων

Behold the virgin in womb have and bear son and call the name his Emmanouel which is translated with us the God

Behold, the virgin (will) have in womb and (will) bear a son and call his name Emmanuel which is translated "The God is with us."

λεγοντες που εστιν ο τεχθεις βασιλευς των ιουδαιων ειδομεν γαρ αυτου τον αστερα εν τη ανατολη και ηλθομεν προσκυνησαι αυτω

ακουσας δε ηρωδης ο βασιλευς εταραχθη και πασα ιεροσολυμα μετ αυτου

Heard and 'Erodes the king troubled and all Ierosoluma with him

And Herod the king heard (this) and (was) troubled and all Jerusalem with him.

και συναγαγων παντας τους αρχιερεις και γραμματεις του λαου επυνθανετο παρ αυτων που ο χριστος γενναται

και συ βηθλεεμ γη ιουδα ουδαμως ελαχιστη ει εν τοις ηγεμοσιν ιουδα εκ σου γαρ εξελευσεται ηγουμενος οστις ποιμανει τον λαον μου τον ισραηλ

And you Bethle'em land Iouda not least are of the princes Iouda of you for comes governor who shepherd the people my the Israel

'And you Bethelem (in the) land (of) Judah are (certainly) not littlest of the princes (of) Judah, for (out) of you comes (a) governor who (will) shepherd my people, Israel.'"

τοτε ηρωδης λαθρα καλεσας τους μαγους ηκριβωσεν παρ αυτων τον χρονον του φαινομενου αστερος

Then 'Erodes secretly called the magi ascertain of them the time the shined star

Then Herod secretly called (a meeting with) the magi (to) ask of them the (exact) time the star (first) shined.

και πεμψας αυτους εις βηθλεεμ ειπεν πορευθεντες ακριβως εξετασατε περι του παιδιου επαν δε ευρητε απαγγειλατε μοι οπως καγω ελθων προσκυνησω αυτω

And sent them into Bethle'em saying go diligently enquire about the child when and found report me so and-I come worship him

And (he) sent them into Bethlehem saying, "go diligently enquire about the child and when (you have) found (him) report (back to) so I also (can) come worship him."

οι δε ακουσαντες του βασιλεως επορευθησαν και ιδου ο αστηρ ον ειδον εν τη ανατολη προηγεν αυτους εως ελθων εστη επανω ου ην το παιδιον

They but heard the king went and behold the star which saw in the east led them until came stood above where was the child

But they heard the king (and) went (away), and behold! The star which (they) saw in the east led them until (it) came (and) stood above where the child was.

και ελθοντες εις την οικιαν ειδον το παιδιον μετα μαριας της μητρος αυτου και πεσοντες προσεκυνησαν αυτω και ανοιξαντες τους θησαυρους αυτων προσηνεγκαν αυτω δωρα χρυσον και λιβανον και σμυρναν

Departed and they behold angel lord appeared in dream to Ioseph saying arise take the child and the mother his and flee into Aigupton and be there until which tell you for 'Erodes seeks the child the destroy him.

And they departed. Behold, an angel (of the) lord appeared in (a) dream to Joseph saying, "Arise, take the child and his mother, and flee into Egypt and remain there until (I) will tell you. For Herod seeks the child (to) destroy him."

ο δε εγερθεις παρελαβεν το παιδιον και την μητερα αυτου νυκτος και ανεχωρησεν εις αιγυπτον

The and arose took the child and the mother his night and departed into Aigupton

And he arose, took the child and his mother (that) night, and departed into Egypt,

(I added the word "that," which is not in the greek sentence, to make the sentence flow. NASB and KJV add the word "by." I don't know if they left that night or not. They may have.)
