That is precisely what has happened in the last 30 years.

At the end of the cold war, as the Warsaw Pact collapsed, most of the world breathed a huge sigh of relief, wiped their brows, and slashed military spending, leaving more for hospitals and schools etc

The US, on the other hand, maintained its cold war spending levels, even though the threat level was so drastically reduced.

FOREIGN POLICY:
1. Recognize that we are at war with the Islamic terrorists and the ISIS Caliphate. Weapons Free.

2. Cancel the Iranian Nuclear Deal.

3. Reaffirm our commitment to our allies.

4. Affirm that Russia is not our enemy and work with all nations to reduce terrorism and barbarism.

5. Invest in our military and use overwhelming military strength to deter wars before they begin. (Lead from the front.)

6. Leave the United Nations and have it removed from US soil.

7. Kill NAFTA and other trade agreements. Bring jobs back to the US.

8. Support a designated area, outside of the US, for refugees fleeing war areas. We do not release foreign nationals into the US population.

9. Give priority to rescuing populations who are being eliminated by genocide.

DOMESTIC POLICY:

1. Enforce immigration laws (USC Title 8). Protection of US citizens shall not be jeopardized.

2. Enforce naturalization for those who wish to become US citizens.

3. Enforce the 2nd Amendment in all states.

4. All non-criminal US citizens may open carry everywhere, with the normal exceptions of schools, banks, courthouse etc.

5. Place armed Honorably Discharged Veterans at our K-12 schools to protect our children.

6. Make arrests in Planned Parenthood where applicable.

7. Support the local police departments and quash the riots in the streets by using the National Guard with non-lethal weapons. (Heat rays etc.) Enforce arrests for looting, burning and disorderly conduct.

8. Dissolve the IRS in favor of an easy flat tax plan. Start at 25%. Adjust annually as needed. With a cap of 30%. Businesses pay the same rate. Remove all exemptions.

9. Reinvest in farming, local production of crops and food sources.

10. Open the keystone pipeline, Invest in our own resources and eliminate the need for foreign oil.

11. Revitalize the nation's physical infrastructure.

12. Revise and secure the US voting systems and make voting mandatory.

13. Make state firearm concealed carry permits effective nationwide. If you have a permit in one state you are free to move through the US unimpeded. (Use the driver’s license endorsements)

14. Replace Federal Judges that do not uphold the Constitution and the American way of life.

15. Revise Federal spending rules so that government offices are not required to spend all of their appropriated money annually. Encouraging government savings accounts and correct spending.

16. Enhance disaster readiness. Be prepared. (Katrina)

17. Make one tour of military service mandatory upon turning 18 for those who are qualified. Join any branch of the US military. (Active or Reserve)

18. Double the wages of active duty military personnel.

19. Provide for the needs of Honorably Discharged veterans. (Base privileges, open housing, chow halls, education and medical care.)

20. Enhance Job training and education benefits for Honorably Discharged veterans.

21. Honorably Discharged veterans will be granted concealed weapons carry permission throughout the nation using driver’s license endorsements or by carrying of the DD214 form.

22. Remove “safe havens” for illegal foreign nationals in the United States.

23. Jail and prisons to be used for violent and felony offenders only.

24. Enforce monopoly laws against companies that kill “mom and pop” shops and create dependencies by their presence in local communities.

25. Rescind the “Affordable Health Care” act.

26. Uphold the American values of family and marriage.

27. Return stolen funds to Social Security.
