yep i was thinking sameDefinite yay to the first 3; haven't read the last 2. The movie didn't do the books justice, but it was enjoyable.

The earlier ones were a BBC radio series before the books, which I still feel was the best version. The others were made into radio shows which are very good too. They put the films in the shade. Most of the cast of the TV series were in the radio show first.
I do not like his fondness for Richard Dawkins & atheism but I love his delicous humour, and of course the delights of Vogon poetry......

You mean Oolon Collupid's famous trilogy Where God Went Wrong, Some More of God's Greatest Mistakes and Who is this God person, anyway?
Still funny, though,
God's Final Message to His Creation said:"We apologise for the inconvenience."
Oh freddled gruntbuggly,
Thy micturations are to me
As plurdled gabbleblotchits
On a lurgid bee
That mordiously hath bitled out
Its earted jurtles
Into a rancid festering
Now the jurpling slayjid agrocrustles
Are slurping hagrilly up the axlegrurts
And living glupules frart and slipulate
Like jowling meated liverslime
Groop, I implore thee, my foonting turlingdromes
And hooptiously drangle me
With crinkly bindlewurdles,
Or else I shall rend thee in the gobberwarts with my blurglecruncheon
See if I don't.
Anyone read the New Book yet ?
