in the praise band?
Yep, and a 1,000 sound keyboard (violins, harpsichord, etc), and Fenders to boot!

But they keep the drums behind plexi-glass with mics to get cleaner sound.

You should hear their rendition of "A mighty fortress"!

How 'bout your church?

Yes, we do. But we do not use them every Sunday, as one Sunday a month is "traditional", and uses only piano and organ. But we do use them on the other 3 Sundays.

That's cool, to have one Sunday as "traditional". We sing one classic hymn every Sunday, jazzed up a bit. It would be cool to have a whole worship time like that.

It is nice, as it makes for a nice mixture of songs. I love the new songs, but I also love the old hymns of faith!

Rich
