he has had so many under the table slander cases .. he spent thousands of dollars of his ministry money defending his attacks against other ministers. i know much well of what i am talking about. and i am not a stranger.. why should we all listen to u ? who are u?
My name is Ben, and I am a consultant by day and a pastor by night, planting a church in the east end of London. My website is
www.treeoflifechurch.org.uk and my blog is treeoflifelondon.wordpress.org.
You are a stranger to me. I don't know your name or your history or anything about you. I don't listen to strangers when they tell me to avoid someone or tell me bad information about someone.
You don't have to listen to me at all. But I am not the one saying run away from a certain ministry.
Have I heard of Jim Kaseman? No. What I know about him is that he was involved with Rhema and also with Craig. That means it is going to take a lot to convince me to run away from him, because he already has two very strong counts of being very sound.
Listen, if you really have a genuine concern about the man then you need to have two or three witnesses because he is an elder. When you have that and you are prepared to explain your history, then I will be willing to take the time to listen to your concern.
I am not trying to be offensive and rude, I am trying to learn why you would think that making a single slanderous comment would be appropriate or sufficient.
I, and many other people with a Word of Faith background, have encountered people who will never listen to two sides of any story. Someone says Kenneth Copeland, or whichever preacher is target of the month, said x, then these people will be reposting this all over the internet without ever purchasing the relevant tape and actually listening to him. Maybe you are not doing such a thing, maybe you have first hand experiences of the abuses that you cite. If so, then you need to explain this to people because we are not in the habit of condemning people on the say so of gossip.
Second hand evidence is not legal in a court of law in your country or mine, so why should your testimony be valid. Even if you had a valid warning for your fellow Christians, your current attitude is not proving that you are someone I should be willing to.
