Christian chat rooms & message boards

Hi,
I'm pretty new to the net. Last night I signed on to 3 different Christian chats, and all I found was discord, argument over legalistic doctrine, and rude people just wanting to express opinions based on very little scriptural knowledge. There was actually profanity on one of them. I know Christians aren't perfect, but aren't we supposed to try harder than those living in the flesh to be kind?
Please forgive me, but now I'm leery of these kinds of forums. I truly hope you guys are different. I'm looking for real fellowship and to share the power of Christ in my life.

Welcome. Somehow I'm not surprised that you found this behavior in the chat rooms. But I haven't see anything like that in any of the message forums. Don't be discouraged, there is plenty of good fellowship available here.
