Nope. It doesn't matter to me. He's dead. But IMO the choice to see or not see the picture *should* belong solely to the 9-11 families--*not* Clinton and the group that were watching the video and *not* Obama. (Why do they get to dictate to the families what's best for them?)

BTW anyone who thinks that the pictures will not be leaked or eventually shown--perhaps under not-so-nice circumstances (Wiki Leaks anyone?) is naive IMO. I really do think that it should be up to the 9-11 families to be able to view the picture or not--not to anyone else.

But as for me--it doesn't matter. He's dead. (Of course, the identity of the one shot seemed to matter a great deal to Obama. He even had a DNA test done. Have no idea how it was done before the man was shot, or I guess the Seals just had to take a chance on the identity and there had to be a rush job afterwards.)

I don't think thats why they aren't releasing the pictures. They have other reasons. I don't like seeing a pornographic picture of anyone and I didn't even loose anyone. Releasing such pictures is for no ones best interest that I can see.

The military is equiped to DNA tests on the fly. They were well prepared.

Well, think of it this way, that was what bin Laden's 10 year old daughter and his youngest wife got to witness. (According to yesterday's report--I believe today's added a few more wives, but they weren't in the room when the execution took place.)

as for bin laden- i could really care less after having the images of scores of innocent people jumping out of the twin towers permanently etched in my brain for over a decade

and as for bin laden's family, they are lucky to be alive because they certainly do not deserve to be

I hope he is dead. When the supposed facts keep changing, well, seems like a well planned take down ends up now as amateur hour from the govt. Too many "facts" have changed. Becoming lies and/or what? Surely the White House and the Pres. knows what went down, as we are told they watched in real time. Or maybe they didn't. Reuters acquired pictures and checked those before buying them. They are real, no tampering etc. They show two dead. Pity our govt will not confirm BL's death.

Edit: Not 2 dead but 3. My mistake but dont want to spread any mistakes.

I still don't understand why they didn't take him alive. Osama would have been worth much more alive due to the information he would have known. As well as his humiliation in prison.
