"America needs good citizens!"

We need more innovative, artistic, and scientific people. I hope I'm wrong about the future for these kids, but their parents are definitely not helping them be all they can be.

The world needs people like the Duggars, too--future homemakers and builders.

But you are right in that good citizens come from many different walks of life.

And that good citizens can be members of any political party.

And that good citizens can be Christians or Buddhists or Muslims or Jews or atheists.

Although I think that public service is a good thing, I don't think that Jim Bob should run for the US Senate or another term in the State Senate unless he's covered all the bases in his family....

That's escapism.

If he's going to go off to his state capitol for three months a year, a live in nanny and an occasional housekeeper/gardener is definitely called for.
