I guess if God wanted birds to fly, He woudn't have put them in nests.




Then perhaps you should think of Babel the next time you:

Insulate your house
Buy a smoke detector
use a cordless appliance
go to the hospital
fly in an airplane
put on a football helmet
play golf
Read the Constitution or the Dead Sea Scrolls
eat your vegetables
talk to a firefighter

and a whole bunch of other things.

Becasue you'd be surprised how much technology NASA used to get to the Moon has found its way into our daily lives.

Apparantly so -- people usually don't invent something unless there's a need for it. Going into space created a need for a whole lot of new things, as well as redesigns for old ones.

Point taken, but I don't believe NASA or our government. I believe the US wanted to beat Russia, so they just made it appear we went to the moon.

You already said you wouldn't accept any proof showing we landed on the moon so you would seem to have disqualified yourself as any sort of judge as to what is or isn't proof. That would be like someone who's eyes are closed saying "There's no proof the lights are on in this room!" You've "closed your eyes" (by your own admission) on the moon landing. See my point?

I took the posting with all the things that were "supposedly" improved by us going to the Moon as proof we went to the Moon.

In that regards, improvement on inventions does not prove we went to the moon. If the moon landing had never been brought about, then those inventions would have never improved?

Now where did I say that was my purpose? Even if the Moon landing was faked, the inventions are real enough.

You compared the Space program to Babel. Oddly enough, Babel, an event you obviously think did happen, only served to temporarily inconvenience humanity, whereas the Moon landing, which you are intractably convince is a hoax, has benefitted the human race six ways from Sunday.

I just find that interesting -- unlike your beliefs that it was a hoax, which don't concern me in the slightest.

To be fair, if no amount of proof is going to convince you about the moon landing why post an article dealing with the moon landing if all you are going to do is gripe about it? To me it doesn't seem as if you are interested in the moon landing or even debating it--all it looks as if you are doing is stirring the pot.

In that case: Russia won.

They got a rover on the moon before we had people.
