Hi there!

So I got to wondering about evolution, and this question came to mind:

Why aren't medical clinics referred to as animal clinics, like all the others are?

Yeah, and why aren't Doctors referred to as Vets? I can only think it's some sort of conspiracy.

Or it's an unwillingness to apply terminology across the board.

Its almost like words and definitions have meaning, that terms can be used for differen things to increase understanding.

Or maybe its a big conspiracy to keep the truth out and make the evil ghosts/demons/pixies/devils/gods win!

Like "fetus" for "child in the womb"?

What are you moaning about? Don't you like to think 'man' has some sort of special status separate from the animal kingdom?
Yup.

But I'm playing devil's advocate for your educational benefit.

Gotcha. You should be careful though, you don't want to start thinking like an evolutionist, it's a slippery slope from there.
Don't worry.

My mind thinks vertical, not horizontal. :)

Other than the crazy Islamic suicide terrorists and bombers does Islam bother you? if not then why does evolution bother you?

For the same reason it is called a pig sty, and not an animal sty.

I am sorry, but I must tell this story one time to somebody and your question brought it up.

My ailing older dog passed away about a week ago. My wife had just picked up food and medicine for her, but the dog had passed during the day while home with me. So, the clinic said they'd take her and we returned with the supplies and old faithful in an office-paper box/coffin. When I went to settle the bill, they said we had $50 credit after everything.

So the difference is that animal clinics charge relatively little at the end-of-life stage. Less than a months worth of food.
Evo worshipers, why don't medical clinics handle cremations at a fair rate, like my vet?
