The 70 weeks of Daniel are 70 weeks of years. Correct?
If so, you cannot make any part of any one of those years into MORE years.
If the Angel Gabriel simply gave Daniel 70 weeks, then with your 360 day year reckoning, your 70 weeks were completed in around 39 or 40 AD?The 70 weeks of Daniel are 70 weeks of years. Correct?

I think you are saying that the 1260 days (or 42 months) are a part of Daniel's 70 weeks ... specifically, they are 3 1/2 years, which is the last half of Daniel's 70th week.Dan 9:27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make [it] desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.Something happens in the middle of the last week - this leaves half a week, which is 3 1/2 years (or 1260 days, or 42 months) using the one day = one year principle.
MH seems to want to make these 1260 days into 1260 years, which has no basis except that "the maths works"!
Did Gabriel give the prophecy to Daniel as just 69 plus one week?I love how you keep skirting the question!! You CANNOT make a 3.5 years into 1260 MORE YEARS!
69 of the 70 weeks are complete. The 70th cannot occur until the Son of Perdition/False Christ/Prince who shall come/Little Horn is here de facto. Take it up with God that He didn't cast Satan out within 7 years of the Crucifixion...
Did Gabriel give the prophecy to Daniel as just 69 plus one week?
There ya go! Now, do you see any parallels to anything else in the Daniel's times, in the manner in which Gabriel gave the prophecy to Daniel?STILL SKIRTING THE QUESTION!! Please explain how 3.5 = 1260.
The prophecy is 7 weeks (Dan. 9:25) + 62 weeks (Dan. 9:26) + 1 week (Dan. 9:27) = 70 weeks of years (Dan. 9:24).
