I think when we go through a period of extreme closeness to God, we might need a break. Just because it is such a life changing experience. Man can only change so much so fast. Not to fall away, but just to take a rest before you go on to the next level. At least I have found this to be true in my own life.

Is it normal, or acceptable, just to feel like not even wanting to THINK about God/faith/etc for a little while, as if you need a vacation from thinking of all of that stuff? My faith seems to have lose it's zest more than in the usual downtime. Anyone have experiences with this?
I feel like this sometimes and I know from my experience it is usually just my flesh allowing apathy to set in - so when I feel like that I usually think about God and pray on purpose to breakit.
