A bit of advice please.

I'm thinking about changing my uni course and it now entails me going away to another country for a year. I have to admit I'm a little worried and I'd like some advice from anyone who's in a long distance relationship, on how to handle it all and most importantly how to broach the subject with my boyfriend especially as I will have to be away on his 21st birthday.

So has anyone got any advice?

If it is what you want to do, then befoere you get married to anyone you need to do it. i went to africa for 3 months, (and only talked to my fiance twice) and i think it was the best thing, because I'm not going into marriage regretting anything.

How to tell him however... I think the only way you can is just to do it.

I was dating my husband longdistance for few years, it really helped us to learn more about each other.
Also when we got married and he was in Coast Guard beeing away on the boat for weeks, helped us strengten our marriage.
We talked on the phone a lot, wrote e-mails every day back and forth, letters, a lot of memories...prayed over the phone with each other. It makes you really think if you want to be with this person.
Especially putting everything in God's hands praying that if it is his will make us strong.
