But since you bring it up Im interested in your understanding of it
Noah and his family were taken from the water.
God made Moses a God unto the Egyptians and the Egyptians called Moses,'' Osiris.''
Osiris was a perversion of the worship of Noah, and Osiris is also taken from the water.
Being that Moses was taken from the water, they called him,'' Osiris.''
Water is flesh, all people are born of the woman, and thus born of flesh, we are as people who are drowning in this flesh, and it was needed that somebody come and save us from the water.
The water must be crossed as a birth from one reality to the next.
Jesus walking upon the water was a picture of his being able to crossover above the water, to rise above the flesh.
The birth of Israel crossing the water brought a new man, a new creature just as we can say that Noah in the old world was one man, and when he crossed over, he crossed into a new world.
The picture of Israel crossing the sea is only a shadow of what was to come, just as the Passover lamb was a picture of Jesus dying on the cross, so too, the water must be crossed.
There is yet a third Passover to come, and when we look back to God splitting the waters, and the waters standing on end to expose the hidden chambers of the sea, we look forward to when our waters will be split open standing on end, and God will be there.
Jesus is the water of Sukkot, and to believe in Jesus and to seek him out, a person will have a river of water flowing from their heart.
When we look at the water ceremony of Sukkot, they say,'' Let us draw from the waters of salvation.''
They bring the water and the wine to the alter, and there are two cups built into the alter for the wine, and for the water because there are TWO VESSELS to hold them, and the branches are stacked against the alter.
The two bowls have holes in the bottom of their vessel, and the water and wine pour out on the base of the alter, and this is a shadow of the water and blood pouring from Jesus in a type of consummation and birth.
When Moses turned the water to blood, it shadows a spiritual aspect in Revelation when the two witnesses will have the power to turn the water to blood, and we ARE water, and blood, so what has happened within us if the water is turned to blood?
Jesus had 6 water pots brought and these were used for purification in the temple, and he turned this water to wine, it was not his time to do so, but it looks to a future event.
Just as when Jesus went up to Sukkot but first said,'' It is not my time to go, you go.''
We still wait on the fulfillment of Sukkot when the water will really be turned to wine.
We were all born of water, but the water is fowl.
We see two men that represent a single man when we see Elijah, and Elisha crossing the Jordan by splitting the water, the men themselves were cut in half, or should I say,'' Divided.''
Elisha was given a double portion, and the first thing he went about doing was to heal the waters because it is symbolic for a part of what we are and what we believe.
Water is also teachings, words, beliefs.
For instance, the Nile river is the water of Egypt, and for God to turn the water to blood is to come against the teaching of Egypt, of the flesh.
When you stand before the throne and see the colors of the veil, your mind should see two seas, and an oven, because the colors are taken by 3 methods, one is taken from the creature of the great sea, and one is taken from the creature of the red sea, and one is taken by putting an insect into an oven.
Mankind is drowning in a sea of flesh, and that's what man is, we are made of water, and if we are to produce, we see millions of sperm trying to cross the water to make it to the other side, but just as it was with Noah, millions die in the water, and only the few crossed it.
When we see Elijah, Moses, and Jesus standing on Mount Hermon, we see 3 peaks covered in snow.
That snow travels down into the Jordan, and from there it goes to the lowest point of the Earth, the dead sea, and this is showing how all of us are in a dead sea.
Jesus came specifically to make fishermen, fisherman who would save others from the sea. We see them when the river of Ezekiel comes, we see fisherman catching all sorts of creatures, and we see them drying their nets on the banks of the river.
This is what Jesus came and did, he made fishers of men to save the creatures from the waters.
And when we look at Revelation, it isn't speaking of creatures in the sea, it is speaking of people who are still drowning in the water.
And the second angel sounded, and, as it were, a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea; and the third part of the sea became blood; 9And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed.
10And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters. 11And the name of the star is called Wormwood; and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter
The ships upon the seas are in direct reference to Issachar, and Zebulun.
Isaachar and Zebulun are two merchant sailors upon the seas, one makes money to support the other while he studies, and this is why one side of the ship is for gold{zebulun} and the other side of the ship if for Issachar{scholar}.
If a person is in Issachar and Zebulun, he is a person who makes money, he witnesses, and he supports the other him that studies the word. One makes money, one studies, but after they have finished, it is Judah who jumps out of the boat.
This is the second stage of a 4 stage design, those in ships upon the seas have not finished their task, and if a third of the creatures die in the sea, it is depicting people who have not committed fully to God.
When we pass through the sea, it is death and birth, dying to the old, and becoming a new creature.
Water is depicted as a spirit within us, and we pray for the rain in the hopes of being filled with the spirit, it is the word of God for cleansing but it is also used to depict a spirit of flesh, that all people are born of water.
1 John 5
This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth.
Not by water only but by blood and water.
What does this mean?
And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.
Coming by Body, soul, and spirit.
If 100 pound hailstones fall on people, it's because a hard truth has been realized by them.
''Come here, I will show you the judgment of the great harlot who sits on many waters.''
What is meant in showing the woman of Babylon sitting upon the waters?
Who is she sitting upon?
Between heaven and Earth, there is a sea that has to be crossed.
The Egyptian die trying to crossover, and everyone must cross sooner or later.
These were some of my opinions and how I view some things, but my opinions and views are always changing, always being tweaked, and so if anyone has anything to add or take away, please do.
I have no problems with finding fault in what I write, it's when you find fault that you learn something new.
