Please keep in mind that this is one of the biggest issues that Trump is hanging his election hat on. He continues to amplify a fear and anger against migrants and asylum seekers, and always calling them 'illegals'. It is natural to see the fear and anger spread all across social media, even here.

Not just using “invasion” now we have another word, “militarily.” How does the military handle a problem? They kill people. Deportations is what you say now. Your language suggests something else if necessary, especially when you color this as a military threat to this country. Your language around this issue is alarming.



However, not nearly as alarming as the lack of Christians lining up here to lovingly correcting a misguided brother in Christ. Christians, this is what is being proclaimed by people on your faith, this is what people think the Christian faith is. Stand up to this hatred or this will be what Christianity is. Your silence is actively harming the Body of Christ and people who didn’t need to be tortured for all eternity will be because they saw what @Matt5 said, say no push back from Christians and figured out that is what Christianity is.

If you saw a person caught in the wire and drowning in the river, would you seek to save the person, or would you let them drown?
BTW the person isn't a USA citizen and was illegally attempting to enter USA.

The Biden administration immigration policy is very similar to the D Trump immigration policy,
Just no Zero Tolerance and unnecessary seperation of children from their families
No Title 42 (which was enacted explicity for situation like a global pandemic)
An no remain in Mexico policy.

Everything else is very similar.

At least Trump was trying to change things. I think we all understand that this is not easy. It's something that Congress has to get in board with and provide the funding for what needs to be done and to change the immigration laws. No president can do all that needs to be done.

It may have been similar from the start because the previous administration ran it that way. It takes time to change things and Trump was working on it. You realize he only had two years and was slowly making progress? Then the pandemic hit and everything changed. Then he used 42 which was a quick fix. Everything else is slow. Biden has had four years now and it's worse than ever. He's not doing a thing to stop it.

Well, no. There isn't a story about border patrol not being allowed to save drowning migrants.
The fight is about whether the border patrol are legally allowed to cut the razor wire.
The Supreme court have said they can.


The political dispute amongst the common people, is why are the Border Patrol wanting to cut the razor wire?
1. I have read articles saying that they want to cut the wire because it is in the way of them making arrests and in the way of them saving lives of people drowning.
2. You, I presume are saying that you have read articles or heard news that they are cutting it because they want to allow illegal immigrants to enter the country.

I don't think item 2 sounds very plausible. Especially given that it is Border Patrol's job to enforce the border and to arrest illegal entrants and to direct asylum seekers to make an asylum claim etc. I can't see why Border Patrol would have any incentive to just let illegals into the country.

I presume you don't think item 1 is plausible??? or perhaps you might think item 2 is more plausible than item 1???
