Who exactly are you assuming is objective? In my years of posting on forums like this I see thousands of posts with claims that are in no way objective. Do you feel that you're objective? And if you do how do you support that?

No one is 100% objective. But, with that said, those who tend to rely on objective/verifiable evidence is giving a claim credence, are much more objective, than those who make claims without supporting them with evidence.

I assume, if someone of another religion tried to convince you you're beliefs were wrong and had nothing in regards to objective evidence to support their claims, you probably wouldn't believe them to be correct, would you?

I do not need to know a single atheist to know that mikenet is not capable of reading minds.

I have noticed a trend on these boards. It seems as though, a whole bunch of Christians like to think, they can read minds.

So you've supplied evidence that God doesn't exist? You supplied evidence that the universe was not created?

Strawman.

On this part of the forum, people will ask you to support you're claims with evidence. If that is not comfortable for you, there is a Christian only part of the forum as well.

Did the poster you responded to claim to have evidence a God does not exist? Did he claim without question, a God does not exist? Did he claim to know exactly how the universe came to be?

Doesn't your faith label suggest that you have, or is there a new type of atheism that I'm not aware of?

Let me help you, as you seem confused.

The vast majority of atheists, don't claim a God does not exist. They simply will state; they see no logical reason to believe a God exists.

Big, big difference.

But of course that is your claim and opinion but the facts are that not everything about this issue is verifiable or objective. You seem to just like to use the catch phrases?

I'm not talking to somebody from another religion, I'm talking to a person that doesn't believe in any God. The whole issue about faith is that it's not a matter thinking I'm right, it's a matter of knowing I'm right and that is what usually sends most people of your ilk into a thither.

No, it's called 'quid-pro-quo', and the difference between you and I is I can go anywhere on this forum, or at least more places, when you can't and that probably sticks in your craw as well.

You can think you are right until the cows come home, no matter to me.

You see, I enjoy visiting this site not so much to hear what people believe, as I fully expect people to have varying beliefs. What interests me, is how people justify what they believe in and or, make claims about others who disagree with them.

That is what gets fun to observe and I love human psychology.

Well if it's logic that you're actually using that you should believe that God exists because logically it would be impossible for our present world to exist without an intelligent designer or whatever you want to call him. The fact is logic has nothing to do with it and believe you me I'm far from being confused. I should warn you though that this type of ad hominem will quickly come back to bite you in the back side.

I love it when others claim to know how I feel.

Please, keep up the entertainment.

Support you're claim that it would be impossible for this world to exist without an intelligent designer?

Also, could you provide what you use as a definition for intelligent design and most importantly, what is you're scientific falsifiable test to determine, when design is present?

So now you're using my lines? I have serious doubts that over 37,000 posts means you don't care.
Are you simply coming here to troll? Or do you really want to learn?
Well as far as human psychology is concerned you should be well aware that people involved themselves to your degree in things that caused them a lot of cognitive dissonance. That won't go away until you actually DEAL with your issue.

Please demonstrate how my post was an ad hominem attack and be specific please.

Keep up with the mind reading, maybe you will get it right one of these times.

If you want to know something, just ask me and I will respond. Or, would you rather just keep claiming, to know how I feel?

Why would I want to know something from a person who doesn't know?
