You do realize that refusing to take a future microchip or some such mark will likewise not prevent all people from buying and selling don't you?

If I want to "Purchase" a gallon of milk from my neighbor who has a couple of cows and the currency I sue to "buy" that milk is a dozen eggs from my chickens, lack of a microchip mark will not prevent either of us from engaging in such commerce.

Yes, there'll be quite a 'black market' after the marka the beast is issued.

Really?
How does that view of yours square with this:
Rev 13:16-17
16 He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, 17 and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

How is it there can be this "Black market" of buying and selling going on when scripture plainly says "NO ONE MAY BUY OR SELL" without he mark?

Maybe you don't take this scripture literally?

YOU, in your previous post in this thread, said that black mkt. would come about.

David felt ashamed cuz he lived in a palace while God abode in a tent when He visited Israel, so he felt compelled to build Him a glorious temple.

While GOD has no need of any edifice to dwell in, He allowed Solomon to build Him a temple, which served as a point for Israel to gather and worship Him. That was the real purpose of the temple...a focal point for worship, while GOD is omnipotent, omniscient, & omnipresent everywhere at once.

When the Jews build their new temple in Jerusalem, its "holiness" will be upta GOD, as only HE can make anything holy. But the world will see it as a focal point for God's presence on earth, and once more as a focal point for worship. And thus, when the 'beast' defiles it by setting up his statue in it & declaring himself to be God, that'll be the "abomination of desolation". (No matter WHERE he were to do it, there can be no greater abomination to GOD than a MAN declaring himself to be God.)

Preterists insist the Jews won't build another temple, but they already have the plans & materials to do it, while they're breeding the animals to be used in temple ceremonies & observances. (Remember, the Orthodox Jews do NOT believe Messiah has come & the Old Covenant is no longer in effect.) And prets believe the "abomination of desolation" has already occurred, although there's NO record of it in history. The erection of a new temple would be the final nail in the preterism coffin.

"HISTORY AND REALITY trump all preterist assertions."

No, ON topic to what parousia 70 said. That other site has believers of false doctrines also.

The other site has false believers, but I can't read their posts at the moment. I was wondering if they banned me for life or if something other good thing happened!
Can you get on the discussion board there?

Oh and you would do well to listen to Par 70 he has a quite a biblical knowledge.

Very simple...this event has NOT yet occurred.
But you just said you don't believe it literally will occur.

How are you going to know when it does occur if you yourself claim what it says in the text won't actually happen?

It hasn't YET happened, nor have many other prophesied events that immediately precede Jesus' return.

1)Do you mean Immediately in God's timing or Human timing?
2) As I pointed out, you already mentioned that don't believe the literal words of the passage will come to pass as written, So I suppose you could make up just about any fulfillment couldn't you?

Jesus was spaking to men, so He musta meant mens' timing when he said "immediately" in Matt. 24:29-30.

making up fulfillments is a preterist habit, so I won't. as I know preterism is false.

Jesus was spaking to men, so He musta meant mens' timing when he said "immediately" in Matt. 24:29-30.

So, using YOUR Criteria, Since Jesus was speaking to men here it must also mean mens' timing?

1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show His servants—things which must shortly take place. And He sent and signified it by His angel to His servant John, 2 who bore witness to the word of God, and to the testimony of Jesus Christ, to all things that he saw. 3 Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near.

making up fulfillments is a preterist habit, so I won't. as I know preterism is false.

You do not believe Revelation 13:17 will LITERALLY come to pass as written.
That is a fact you have established here in this thread.

You are no literalist. You pick and choose what scriptures to believe and which to ignore.

HISTORY AND REALITY prove your assertion wrong.

The events simply HAVE NOT occurred. No twisting of history nor imaginations can change that FACT. Now, you can toss out a boatload of her herrings if you wish, but they won't alter the TRUTH.

Facts are stubborn things. They just won't go away. And the facts here are that most of the events prophesied in the Olivet Discourse andin the Revelation have NOT yet occurred. YOU CANNOT CHANGE THAT FACT! YOU CANNOT PROVE OTHERWISE!

"HISTORY AND REALITY trump all preterist assertions."

He has very clearly 'proved' it from the bible. The only problem is that you refuse to accept what the bible actually says, so naturally your ideas do not match up with scripture.
