Actions speak louder than words. You shall know them by their fruits. And several other cliches which also apply.

Absolutely spot on. Apart from little details like the whole "being President of the USA" thing, Obama's actions and fruits don't seem vastly different to those of many other Christians I know.

What exactly is it that Obama does that makes him so unChristian that every other person who thinks they're Christian isn't also guilty of?

Didn't y'get the memo? He's a Muslim Marxist. Oh, and a foreigner with no legal right to be President of the USA. Gosh, I thought everyone knew that. :p

I can only assume that by "most" you mean "some".
No, I meant "most" - I'm a glass is half-full kind of guy.

I also assumed 'Christian' means what the name means, not the country-club variety, nor the Easter - Christmas brand of those who merely align themselves with the general concept.

Is abortion the ultimate measuring stick of a man's faith?

And even if it is, then does Obama's position - summarised in the article as believing that it should be "safe, legal and rare" - really equate to " totally support[ing] dismemberment and butcher chop cuts of...little babies"?

David.

Here's his record on abortion. I'll let you be the judge of what equates to what.

The President's professions of Christian faith convince me less and less. I think the turning point came when he started asking that crosses be covered at churches where he spoke.

And he asked for this to be done...when, exactly?

He supports women's health, obviously, unlike a lot of Republicans?
Yeah, we're for women's health - and men's health too.

But we're not talking about mere 'women.'

We're talking about mothers.

Would that a mother's offspring was treated with equal reverence and compassion by liberals as the mother's 'health.'

Many people don't consider a blastocyst, or a fetus to have the right to override the mother's own right to control her own body for 9 months.

Little barry's daddy AND step daddy were Muslim, which makes little barry muslim by muslim standards and practice. False claims?

That is right Obama, Jesus never wanted anyone "punished with a baby" and totally supported dismemberment and butcher chop cuts of those little babies.

You cannot inherit the Muslim faith. You must make an adult decision in front of an Imam and a congregation. As for the Shahada, you must MEAN it to MAKE it. God is so concerned with abortion that it is never once mentioned in scripture.

Yes, don't forget that all Christians must quote the Bible only as it is phrased in the KJV verbatim.
No Tenka, it's just that Christ taught that we should treat others with love and kindness regardless of how they treat us.
And that's not particular to a specific translation, it's a universal principle throughout the Christian world.

Oh, right. You're wrong, then. Most Christians don't attend 3 - 4 church services per month. From here, in a country 78% of whose population is Christian, depending on whether you go with Gallup or Harris, either 42% or 26% of the population actually attend religious services "regularly" (Gallup) or "every week or more often" (Harris), with a further 9% (Harris) attending "once or twicea month". However you parse the data, that's not going to work out as "most Christians" (i.e., over 50%) attending church services 3 - 4 times a month.

I also assumed 'Christian' means what the name means...
What do you assume the name means? I assume it means a disciple of Christ. I don't see a Christian who only makes it to public church services six times in a couple of years, be that Christian the President of the USA or my next door neighbour, and think, "Pfft! Only 6 times in a couple of years? What a lousy disciple!"

David.
