Are you serious? You're telling me that you wouldn't mind feeling like the most hated person in the world? Never appreciated, always devalued, always seen as a hindrance rather than a blessing and unable to do the one thing you want to do, please everyone? If you don't mind that sign up immediately to be a mod. But I wouldn't wish it upon my worst enemy.

Here's a round of applause to our fine mods in this and every forum in here. You guys never get one and you more than anyone else deserve one.
Ditto, thank you guys for your hard work!!

And in other words force their will and doctrine upon others.

A subforum would keep such discussions there in that forum, and you would need not visit to be offended.

Obviously you don't get it... IT'S THERE IN THE SECTION.
People may as well say, "why do Christians get all upset when Jehovah Witness halls open up in their neighborhood, it's not like it's in their actual yard".. the point is what is being taught -anywhere-.
If it's false, then they're leading people into error and subsequent destruction.
(not that you even believe that exists either;case in point).

God help anyone.

Does it ever occur to you that the same applies to you ? And that sarcasticly belittleing other peoples opinions is also a form of "Flameing" ? Not that I am against "Flameing" where someone trys to defend that which is morally indefensible. - But is it morally indefensible to hold an opinion other than yours?
I'm simply opposed to yours - nothing more.

I'd actually prefer to say alot more here than what I'm able... (or should I say, Unable to do).
Paul was quite firm about issues like this and so am I - but he wasn't restrained in a format like this.

Some Christians here would like to have more freedom of speech. I know that is something that you are against, and that would be what the subforum is for. It's so you wont have to be offended. But you are saying everyone that does not agree with you needs to be cut off.
Look guys, I don't agree with what you peddle - either of you.
People will vote and I have every right to want to deny yet ANOTHER platform for what you peddle. As if one isn't enough.
In the end it probly doesn't matter tho, becuz the Bible says that it's GOD who draws & saves people. So I guess all the false teachings & errors won't end up ultimately misleading those who come to faith.
They will see truth and light for what it is.

Exactly, people will see the truth.

I think we first need to define who's nondenominational and what that will mean, before we start adding sub forums for nondenominational unorthodox beliefs.
About half are Trinitarian, and about half are Non Trinitarian. And the talk is about a subforum, and it is about more freedom of speech. So are you for or against more freedom of speech in a subforum?

I voted against the subforum. The main reason is that an unorthodox subforum really goes against the site set up. There is a location for Non-Nicene congregations - and a congregation for NonTrinitarians:
http://foru.ms/f838-unitarian-non-trinitarian.html

It was a site wide vote that caused that Non-Nicene section to be opened...and not with the Nicene ones.

In fact, there is a forum just for Non-Nicene theology regarding the Trinity :
http://foru.ms/f805-trinitarian-theology.html

We do not need to have a subforum for it here.

Voting for a subforum doesn't mean they're antitrinitarian automatically; unless you happen to know that each one who voted 'yes' IS anti trinitarian specifically.
They might want it just as a subforum without being of that belief.

Exactly

How many times do we have to hear this in every section? It does get OLD. :swoon:
