I frequently catch myself looking at the lower right of my windshield when driving to check the compass on my HUD.

I was just out looking for my cat and when I spotted movement 100 yards away, I tried to zoom in like I was playing Ghost Recon.

When I was playing System Shock 2 the first time, I developed a phobia of security cameras and actually jumped once in a bank when I was looking around while waiting for a teller and spotted one pointing towards me.

Any similar stories?

I've played a ton of SOCOM II, so when someone threw something into a garbage can I dove and said "fire in the hole!" .....Ok well I didn't say it outloud, but you get the picture.

After beating Splinter Cell and Pandora Tomorrow, my 7 year old son and I were walking in public when we spotted a security camera.
My son instinctively asked,"Is that a shootable camera or should I use my camera jammer?" Gotta love it!

One of our favorite genres is racing games.

I was running late driving my son to school one morning ,and my son looks at the clock on the dash and says,
"Hit BOOST,Dad!"

driving on the highway, may dad was picking up and i said "hit your nitro"

going around the malls, i catch myself purposely trying to look calm passing the security booth, knowing ive done nothing wrong.

My Uncle started using glasses after playing the GBAsp 24/7.
that's the reason my dad doesn't want me to play GB's.
he won't let me play the PSP and DS in the near future.

Hmm, in MOH Frontline and Jedi Knight 2 I seem to recall trying to look around a corner and actually moving my body instead of the controller.

Often times I'll catch myself wearing a headset, while playing an offline game.

When I was playing MK2, and SF2Turbo, we played so much, that are thumbs got sore.
So I invented the "thumb sock". I took old cloths, and made little socks that just fit your thumb.
My friends laughed at me, but after a week, everyone of them never played without one on.

I quit a job for a game, and played it 18 hours a day, for 3 weeks straight, before I decided it was time to go back to work.

That reminds me! My xbox controller made my hands fatigued and sweaty,so I got a pair of socks and cut holes for my thumbs and trigger fingers!
Voila! Gamer gloves!!

Well that definetly means that you're doing way to many video games. Stop. Set a time limit. 30 min or an hour a day.

I've dreamed that I was in Unreal Tournament and I was fighting those flying gargoyle things with other avatars like Romulus and Remus. My sight even turned red when I got hit! Thats the kind of dream you never want to wake up from. I could do all these cool flips and dodges and stuff.

My friend once told me that after he had played Morrowind for 15 hours straight for a few days, reality seems funny.
