. . . Does anyone else participate in this ministry with their students? Just curious to see how many Youth EE-ers we have in here.

Fight on! - Wheezy

Hee hee. Sorry! I was in a hurry and forgot to clarify! Youth EE is short for Youth Evangelism Explosion. It's a discipleship training program, basically. A youth pastor gets trained in Youth EE, then goes home and trains x-number of students. He teaches them how to share a gospel outline (although it's very conversational) and has them go out and share their faith on what's called On the Job training (OJT's - we did ours at local high school football games). Then those students train other students and there's an evangelism explosion! Tada! :) . . . We're currently doing this with our students and I was wondering if any of the other youth workers had been a part of this ministry. That's it in a nutshell! Fight on and God bless! -- Wheezy

Never done that.

I'm really into the Peer Ministry (www.peerministry.org) that'll share the Gospel while simple helping others, too.

I also tend to like programs made by Youth Specialties (www.youthspecialties.com)

Sounds great, Bridget. How'd you get involved with those ministries? -- Wheezy
First one, from my church and it's affliation with the whole organized church in the US. There was a training at a fairly close college and my pastor said I should go to that. The next one I found out about on the Internet through some websites I visited often. I was reading some articles and came across Youth Specialties and their Youth Workers Convention.

Tuffguy -- you said, "I thought he meant electrical engineer." Who's he?;) Hee hee! Anyway - that was confusing of me! Whoops! I get used to using the slang, instead of typing out "Youth Evangelism Explosion." Electrical engineering is WAY over my head.

Fight on -- Wheezy
