Your will for us is to do what You say,
To bow before You and to kneel and pray,
To open our hearts to receive from You
Whatever You planned now for us to do.
Your will, O Lord, is my true heart’s desire,
To know what of me that You now require,
To follow You, Lord, now in all Your ways,
To witness for You throughout all my days.
My heart is committed to do Your will,
Your purpose for me, in my heart to fill,
To follow You, Lord, where’re You lead me,
To do what You say, and Your servant be.
I know what that means, that the tests will come,
The hardships await me now one by one,
Maltreatments, rejections, now me await,
Opponents will now try me, hope to bait.
Surrender to Jesus, I must hold fast,
My pearls to the mockers I should not cast,
Show patience with doubters, and pray for them
That they would surrender their lives to HIM.
Now follow the Savior where He directs,
And give Him the honor and the respect,
Obey His commands and now do His will,
And now with His Spirit your heart He’ll fill.
Forsake all your sins, put them now to death,
And follow the Lord now to your last breath,
Commit all your ways to now live for Him,
And all of your sins will now be forgiven.
Now be an example of Christlike faith,
And follow God’s word, all that Christ doth saith,
And live your whole life now to do God’s will,
And let the peace of Christ your heart now fill.
