I'm always skeptical about this kind of thing. There isn't a way to follow up six months later and see how these healed folks are doing.

I do belive God can heal the sick. I have seen it myself. It was not any hype or what not just God healing in answer to believing prayer. I am really sceptical of anything with a lot of hype. Though God could be healing, I would take eveything with a grain of salt or two.
My mom was extremely sick back in the 70s. I prayed God would heal her and then asked others to pray for her. She just got better. The doctor told her they had no idea what was wrong, but she should have died. God healed her.Cajun Hillbilly,
Please don't take this as combative because I don't mean for it to be that way. I do have a question for you though. When you have seen God heal the sick, how did he do that? I guess I am looking for the means used for healing.

Can God do these miracles? of course. do we expect Him to operate in these ways? no. God has promised that the Church will be a result of long term attention to His means of grace, and these are not special miracleous healings but the healing of providence of the care of souls. these kinds of things distract from and get people fired up to look away from the normal means to these extraordinary means. the glitzy, the flashy are seductive ways to neglect God's established means.
Look at their fruits in the past. They don't last, they don't generate good strong churches that engage with the world. they are primarily individualistic and have no staying power when in the long run the miracles show themselves to be deceptive.
Matt 7:21-23Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?' And then will I declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.'
