Apparently phone companies have added a contact tracer to all IPhones and Androids, soon to goto other phones. Your phone will soon be tracking and tracing those around you (with your permission, of course) to see if anyone has tested positive. Checked my android in Google is right there wanting me to install.

No personal information is exchanged, yet they can tell you if someone has positive test.

Yea I am sure, they wouldn't trace your contacts without your permission.

It says that it requires one to specifically be using a tracking app. If one isn't running such an app...

(It also requires Bluetooth to be specifically enabled as well.)
