  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

My first favorite besides the Disney characters like Bambi, Snow White, and Pinochio was Elizabeth Taylor (when she was a child star).

I loved her in Lassie, Come Home, (but not as much as I loved Lassie), Jane Eyre, and especially in her first big starring role opposite Mickey Rooney in National Velvet. (a horse story). I saw it again a few years ago and was so surprised to see that Angela Langsbury played her teenage sister. Angela is one of my very favorites now...

I guess I would still be considered a "child" to some of ya'll.:D

I've been pondering over this for a little while now and I've come up with a few names. These few guys were probably my favorite actors from my earliest memories until I was about 10 years old. Jerry Lewis, Steve McQueen, Mickey Rooney, and Gary Cooper. After thinking a while I'd have to say that Jerry Lewis was probably my favorite actor when I was kid. The other three came very close though.

I still absolutely love Gary Cooper and Steve McQueen, but I can't stand Mickey Rooney.

george clooney. i've been a huge fan of movies since i was old enough to speak english (that's how i learned, actually), but it's been a pretty healthy obsession since the early 90's. after a few of his softer movies, i've been a heavy fan of his since Out of Sight.

When you were much younger;) who did you just love to see in the movies? I can remember being this kid that loved Geena Davis. ^_^ I guess I had a crush or maybe it was because she was everywhere when I was growing up.When you look back, who was your childhood favorite?

My first favorite actor was a character actor. I didn't like him for his looks, I liked him for the humor he brought to the show (in fact he was the 'bad-guy' in the series) I've always liked character actors for their sense of humor.

I guess the two classically handsome men I've liked watching are Tom Selleck and Pierce Brosnan. :)
