I am an avid reader and read all kinds but my ultimate favorite book besides the Bible, is Hinds Feet on High Places by Hannah Hurnard and the other books in her series like Mountains of Spices and Walking Among the Unseen. I was given this book on my way to Desert Storm the first one and I so appreciate and have read it several times and even lent it out. Lol, unfortunally each time i've lent it out I had to replace it. Yes, the book is that good. I am interested in what your favorite book or books are. Thanks.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

My three all-time favorite books are: The Hiding Place by Corrie ten Boom, The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton (I read this so many times throughout high school that my first copy literally fell apart) and The Hobbit.

Wow! Such great responses. I also like crime or mystery murder books like the Kathy Reichs series starting with Deja Dead. She is the writer Forensic Anthropolgist that started the 'Bones' show. Ann Rule is another great Author.

I love most of Nicholas Sparks' books. The Notebook and Message in a Bottle are my favorites. I have a Kindle so I've been reading like mad on it. Pulled is fantastic as is Memory's Child. And I read the Hunger Games which just sucked me in.
