  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

We did away with TV 25 years ago and have never looked back. Once the world lost its grip on us through the news and TV shows, we learned to be free in Christ, and content within ourselves through Him.

Working in the garden or hiking and enjoying God's beautiful Creation, praising God with Christian music, or reading His word instead.

All our children made the choice to serve and love Jesus when they grew up. Mind you, those who married did choose to have a TV back in their family life.

Not sure how they feel not having TV for much of their youth, they never complained about not having a TV when they were kids, even though when they were very young we still had one. We moved to a 15 acre block and did away with the TV then, the kids used to play outside, on the block, most of the time, so they did not miss TV much at all.

Some anti-Christian views are sprinkled in shows including cartoons. Without any connection, the comment was - "do you believe this or some Bible story?" Then they continued with the storyline.

On another cartoon, without speaking,, the figure built an ark. With heavy rain, it sank, and they died.
