Have you read Young, Restless, No Longer Reformed?

Its author was debating James White on a British radio station, the other week. It is available on line:

I've read reviews but not the book. Three issues mentioned by most reviewers would be (1) the authors lack of exegetical work. He never deals with scripture. (2) His youth. He was very young when he claimed to accept Reformed theology and for only a short time. His acceptance of Reformed theology seems too premature. It sounds like he thought he knew what Reformed theology was and jumped ship only after learning about it. (3) He does a good job of avoiding straw man arguments against Calvinism.

When Dr. White talked with the author I got the impression he was heterdox, even conceding that God does not know the future...

Was he truly Reformed to begin with. Sounds like a false conversion.

Calvin wrote his Institutes aged 26 which is pretty young, saying this guy is young is a bit of an ad hominem.
