I just wnated to start a thread as oppossed to just going around and replying to all your posts.
I was in bondage to chronic pain for about 5-6 years. I know how many of you feel, and I was losing hope. I wanted to tell you all that there is hope and I pray that you check into the work from Scott Brady and John E Sarno. Men who have had success in "treating" chronic pain. What they found out is that many people who suffer from chronic pain, do not have structural or physical problems, buut that the pain lies within the person's prsonality or tension in their lives. Check out Scott Brady's pain personalities and see if you fall into these categories.

What worked for me was finding more about my personalty, the goodist and people pleaser, and seeing how much tension that cause dme. It also helped me to see how much I repressed negative emotions, like anger. I wold confess them to God and slowly but surely the pain would start to go away. I believe this is worth looking into and if you have any questions, please let me know.

Thanks for this thread. I just sent my husband to the store to buy the book "Pain Free For Life". I hope they have it in stock. If I could get some relief from pain in just a few weeks, it would change my life completely. It's almost too much to hope for.
