Has anyone celebrated this with others? Our Congreg. is having this tonight. I do not know if I want to attend because I do not even know what it is?? I meant to ask someone last week but forgot, and just now realized that the get together is tonight. Anyone know what this is or what we would do to celebrate it?

It is the feast of firstfruits, when Yeshua was presented ( by himself) before the father as the first wave offering the promise of a bigger harvest to come.

I am not sure why they are celebrating tonight , it should be on Sunday.

Edited to add, this is what is called, resurrection Day, by those that don't want to use the pagan name of esater.

Hey! I think I figured out why it was on that day. It was First Fruits (I didn't go, just asked some people who attended) This was more or less a get together at some one's HOME! Another dinner is planned tonight. I am not sure why it was like this but it may have just been something this couple threw like a dinner party.
