43 I have come in my Father’s name, and you do not accept me; but if someone else comes in his own name, you will accept him.

For some time, I was not able to fit together the character of Jesus, and the character of YHWH, and some do not, and you shall see, fail miserably.

Thus let me give you a clue.

13 And Moses says to God, “Behold, I am coming to the sons of Israel, and have said to them, The God of your fathers has sent me to you, and they have said to me, What [is] His Name? What do I say to them?”

14 And God says to Moses, “I AM THAT WHICH I AM.” He also says, “Thus you say to the sons of Israel: I AM has sent me to you.”

15 And God says again to Moses, “Thus you say to the sons of Israel: YHWH, God of your fathers, God of Abraham, God of Isaac, and God of Jacob, has sent me to you; this [is] My Name for all time, and this [is] My memorial, to generation [and] generation.

As you can see, there are CLEARLY two names in the bush.

Muslims will never wrap their heads around this one. God can forgive by mere will alone? What if He simply chooses not to? What then will you say?

Thus the final revelation is revealed for those with eyes to see. The commandment, and the prophecy, that existed before the creation of the world:

Are there really two different names of God in the passage about the burning bush? As I understand it from bible dictionaries (I don't speak Hebrew), the name translated as "The Lord God" in verse 16 ([yeh-ho-vaw’) is firmly based on the name "I am" of verse 14 (hayah).

They are related, but it's obviously not the same name. Also to be Frank I AM is eh-yeh which is the first person singular of hayah. But YHWH is not a word that is used in a sentance, even if it sounds similar to hayah, and Eve to Chavah, it's their personal name.

So I am going to conclude that Jesus bore his Father's name (YAHSHUA), and he used his own name (I AM).
